5-seed crackers

These crackers, are easy to make and they are packed with protein and fibre. I'm using 5 different seeds, but feel free to play around and change them as you like!

Vegan, nut free, soy free, gluten free, refined sugar free | 350g | SNACK

Ingredients:

Dry:

  • 50g sesame
  • 50g sunflower seeds
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 30g chia seeds
  • 30g flaxseeds
  • 45g chickpea flour
  • 45g fava protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of each garlic granules and chili flakes

Wet:

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 80ml warm water

Steps:

1.Preheat the oven at 170°C.

2.In a large bowl, add all the dry ingredients and whisk well to combine.

3.Add the wet ingredients and mix well, preferably with a silicon spatula.

4.Once everything comes together, place it on some parchment paper, and cover with a second one on top.

5.Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a circle of approximately 0.5cm thickness.

6.Remove the parchment paper from the top and carefully transfer into a baking tray.

7.Bake for 20-25 minutes.

8.Remove from the oven and let it cool on the counter for a bit, before you brake in into large pieces.

9.Store in an air-tight container for up to week and enjoy with some fig jam, any spread like hummus or simply add to your vegan cheese board!
