Dakos is a traditional dish from Crete, perfect for the summer days.
Vegan, soy free, nut free | Serves 1 | SALAD
Ingredients:
- 5-6 wholegrain rusks
- 1 beef tomato
- 30g of vegan feta (I used Violife)
- 1 tablespoon of capers
- 10 kalamata olives
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt, pepper, oregano to taste.

Steps:
1.Place the rusks in a dish and cut the tomatoes on top of them as shown in the pictures. You want all the tomato juice to fall on the rusks so that they become softer.
2.Sprinkle the feta cheese with your hands, add the capers and olives.
3.Continue with the olive oil and herbs.
