This tofu scramble recipe is bursting with flavour, thanks to a blend of aromatic spices and kala namak for that 'eggy' taste. It's a delicious way to start your day with a protein-packed punch.
Vegan, nut free, gluten free | Serves 3 | BREAKFAST
Ingredients:
- 240g firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 340g silken firm tofu
- A pinch of pepper and kala namak (or salt)
- 1/3 teaspoon of each turmeric, oregano and garlic granules
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 50ml soy milk
Steps:
1.Tear apart the firm tofu and add it in a wide pan with the oil and a pinch of salt and kala namak.
2.Saute for few minutes until golden, then add the silken tofu break it apart with a wooden spoon (fork).
3.Add the spices, nutritional yeast and mustard and mix well to combine.
4.Saute for a couple of minutes, before you add the milk.
5.Cook for a few minutes and serve with bread of your choice.
