Moringa pancakes

Delicious pancakes with a healthy twist!

Vegan, nut free, soy free, sugar free | 6-8 pancakes | BREAKFAST

Ingredients:

Dry:

  • 150g flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of each cinnamon and nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Dhow Nature Foods moringa (10% discount code: DHOWLIKENATALI)

Wet:

  • 200ml plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

Serve with:

  • Maple syrup
  • Fruit of choice

Steps:

1.In a bowl add the dry ingredients and combine.

2.In a separate bowl add the wet and mix to combine.

3.Add the wet mixture to the dry and combine.

4.Let aside for 10-15 minutes (the above steps can be done up to a day in advance, just keep the mixture in the fridge).

5.Use a small ladle to scoop the mixture over a pan shaping a circle. When you start seeing small bubbles on the pancake flip it over, using a spatula.

6.Cook on a medium heat, for 3-4 minutes or until golden.

7.Serve with fruits and maple syrup.
