Apple oat cereal

This apple oat cereal is out or this world! I was actually going for another recipe, I wanted to make them into bars, but then… I tried them with milk, and oh my goodness, best decision ever!

Vegan, refined sugar free, gluten free | 4 servings | BREAKFAST

Ingredients:

  • 500g apple and cinnamon oats from Nairn's
  • 2 tablespoons of each desiccated coconut and dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons of each pumpkin and chia seeds
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil
  • 60ml maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/3 teaspoon of each nutmeg and ginger powder
  • Pinch of salt

Steps:

1.In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix with a spatula.

2.Place the mixture a in baking tray (mine is 20x14cm), lined with parchment paper and press down with your spatula.

3.Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.

4.Let it cool down for few minutes, before you cut it into squares.

5.Serve with plant-based milk.

Enjoy!

Notes:

*Add less or more maple syrup, depending on your preference.

*Store in an air-tight container up to 10 days.
